The electric railway system is a field for supplying power from the trolley wires through a current collector consists of a “power supply line, power network for catenary, return line, protection equipment” and others, and professional knowledge as well as high technology are required regarding the electric railway system.

The employees of the power network for catenary acquired the best technology through technical training and local training in various parts of the world and were the first to participate in the design of all sections of South Korea’s Gyeongbu High Speed Railway from the test track to the Phase 2 full service track, and played a pivotal role in further upgrading South Korean electric railway technology.
